Vehicle description
1932 Ford Roadster Pick up
You are viewing a very nice steel body RPU that was finished in 2013 with 3,700 miles driven since the build was completed. The plan was for an old skool look with upgraded running gear. All receipts go with the build. Counting labor the car has over 80K into it. The car runs and drive very good at all speeds and tracks excellent. Very good at high freeway speeds. The car performs very strong with only 2300 lbs or so. Hauls Ass. The car is a very high quality thought out build. Please read on for more particulars of the car:
Body/Paint: The body is Brookville all steel with extended cab for more leg room. The body is very straight and painted DP90 Hot Rod Black. Can be sanded and ready for paint if one wanted to paint. The DP was used as a final color on the car as initial build perspective. The top is made by Sid Shaver black cloth with adjustable kit frame that comes apart and can be stowed in the truck mounted in the bed. Interior: The interior is minable by design. Glide seat in black high quality vinyl with red piping. Auto Meter full gauge package with tach. Heater, but hoses not hooked up. 40 Ford aftermarket steering wheel. Horn works. E brake. Running Gear: 64 409 dual quad 425HP out of a production 409 car. Completely rebuilt to stock specs with roller rockers added, solid lifter. Weber carbs. Tremec 5 speed with hydraulic clutch. Manual electric puller fan with shroud. Manual fuel pump. Rear end is a Speedway Engineering Quick Change Super Max for HD applications with 411 posi. Suspension: TCI frame with Super Bell straight axle. The front suspension is a 4 bar stainless Pete and Jake’s kit with power disc brakes with UniSteer rack and pinion and steering dampener. The rear end is a TCI 4 bar set up with pan bar and coil overs. Bright work: New Glass: Functional windshield. Exhaust: Ceramic headers with 2.5 in ceramic coated pipes. Mufflers are made by Bassani and are stainless. Sound nice. Brakes: E brake with Wilwood front brakes and 9 inch Ford rears. Wheels/Tires: 15 inch steel wheels on the front 16 on the rear custom offset with Moon disc caps. Front and rear tires are Micheline radials with sidewalls shaved. Summary: This car is very well built and a hoot to drive. Lots of fun, comfortable and good for long trips. I have over 100 pictures of the car so please contact me and provide your email address if you would like additional pictures. Reasonable price so why build when you can enjoy today. Great value and a quality car for the money. Disclaimer: The car is for sale locally. The owner has the right to cancel the auction at any time for any reason. No warranties or guarantees are expressed or implied with the car being sold in "AS IS" condition.
Feel free to call me to discuss the particulars.
