1931 Model A Ford Speedster
NOT a kit car. Original cowl/tank/firewall/dash, hood and grille shell. Aftermarket "bobbed" fenders, bomber seats and fuel tank. Custom built solid oak platform. "Boat-tail" rear deck. 1935 16" tri-spoke wheels. Brand new tires from Coker. Original style drive train. Inline 4 cylinder, 3 speed floor shift.
Era specific performance upgrades High compression head. Dual down-draft Holley 94 carbs. Riley aluminum manifold and side cover. Headers and Smittybilt muffler.
Modern upgrades for better drivability. FS Ignitions electronic ignition conversion with auto-advance. (Eliminates awkward manual advance/retard but retains original looking distributor with original style flat copper plug wires.) 12 volt conversion with alternator. Electric fuel pump. Sealed "greaseless" water pump. Mechanical brake upgrade kit.
