1930 Ford Model A "HOO-DYE" Coupe. Original Henry steel, west coast car (California pink in hand) before coming to central Georgia in 1991. Car then came to me in central Virginia in 2016. Powered by a new Model B 4-banger backed by a 3 speed transmission housing 1948 machined, synchronized helical gears. Car has been traditionally lowered, has a dropped front axle, reverse eyed rear spring with leaf removed, juice brakes, lowered headlight bar with NOS Guide-J headlights, "35 Ford wire wheels powder coated black, recent Firestone 7.00-16 on the rear & 6.00-16 on the front. This car is extremely solid overall. Frame is solid as is just about every other part on this car. However, the front fenders need very minor bodywork to be perfect and the body has a few small dents here and there but absolutely nothing major and no rot to deal with! Seat has a tear in the bottom along a stitch seam. I have historic documentation for traceability back to Granada Hills, California owner Chris Sprotte, who named this car the HOO-DYE coupe and who also wrote "how to" articles on restoring Model A"s. The car pictured in the last picture is this car. Car has had all the usual upgrades to make it much more fun to drive than your standard Model A. Car fires right up, drives and stops as it should. Roof has NOT been chopped, body has NOT been channeled. Keep it as is or chop the top and drop in a V8 for great traditional hot rod!
