This car has been garage kept and well cared for. I have owned the car for 15 years. I have several brochures and literature to send with the car. This includes a copy of the original title. This is a Classic Motor Carriages replica. The chassis was made by them as well. It is equipped with Ford running gear. Classic Motor Carriages was a reputable operation. This is not a “hodge-podge” kit-car put together by a novice. The convertible top and sides come with it. It has iconic lines, a classy cream/brown combo, and manual transmission to take control on the backroads. Under the hood is a 2.3-liter Ford motor. This Pinto powerhouse has earned a hardy reputation, and the parts availability is better and more affordable than any Mercedes you'll know. It has a tidy setup that shows this has been under good maintenance, and it's strong-running nature proves it. You have the best control over the full power range of this engine thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. You can feel confident about taking this one out for a little fun thanks to nimble steering and Bridgestone rubber at all four corners. Items in need of attention: *Fuel gauge doesn’t work *Paint is a B- it’s not perfect - it has imperfections in various places. Overall, it is good. *Valve cover gasket could stand to be replaced *Driver’s door needs alignment - it works, but it’s tight *Carpet is aged, and therefore deteriorated. It could stand to be replaced. *I damaged the passenger seat while vacuuming it out- see photos. *Drivers seat needs to be fastened to the chassis. *Battery will drain if not undone- hence the quick connection. It’s either the clock or the horn pulling the drain. This car is obviously small- I’m 6’2” and “healthy”- I can fit and operate it , but it’s tight.
