Ford Model A. Sixty Nine miles since total restoration . Beautifully Restored and in show or drive cond. Rust free and straight !. This car is a truly beautiful car. The roof covering is new and shines. The paint is a bit nicer than I am sure Henry Ford did in the 1920"s. Pin striped by hand with Glossy black fenders. Interior has dove soft dove gray seats , door panels, headliner and matching wool carpet .All new and period correct. A beveled glass mirror finishes off the interior .The electrical system is all in original style with a 6 volt positive. New ground cloth wiring. From it"s restored Aoogaa horn to it"s single tail lamp all is working order. High and low beams work with out issues. The engine turns over and starts with ease. With a new design leak less water pump with leather splash shield. New Ford OEM upper and lower radiator hoses. A two bladed updated aluminum keeps it running cool and a bit safer than the original spot welded steel unit it came with. The fenders , running boards and body panels look smooth. All the glass is without cracks and clear . Front and rear windows roll up smoothly with new felt channels . The spark advance , Throttle control and horn button on the steering wheel look new and work with ease. As does the choke and fuel mixture control. The factory engine purrs and runs great. No smoke or noises . It will drip a drop of two if it sits for a while at oil pan gasket . But no major issue. I have had 3 of these and they all seem to seep. It tracks and drives nice. Clutch works as designed. The wheels are a factory 32 wheels (stronger for todays roads and look correct even if they are slightly wider. Tires are New. Even the spare tire is covered in a steel wrapped mount. The re-cored radiator is in good shape with Stainless Steel polished rock guard keeping it protected. , A Brilliant chromed winged Motor Meter sitting proud on top. Stainless bumpers guard rear look great as well as front. Doors are smooth to open and latch and they should without issue. Windshield tilt out for fresh air . All rubber new and seals correctly. I believe that you would not find a more honest Model A . The under side looks just as good. The car was done correctly . All hardware and wiring is clean and looks as it should. You will be hard pressed to find a nicer Model A, unless you stop by your local Museum and they don"t drive them. Vec. is parked in a climate controlled garage . NOTE = Would consider a well kept Corvette as a trade- Or what do you have?
